ABOUT ME

I’m Funmi, a recent graduate and designer, drawn to

the small details and the stories they point to. I've carried that across growth work at Atlassian, design systems at ACLU, and building design communities at Cornell. What hasn't changed is the part I love most: improving everyday experiences through design that disappears.

When I’m not designing, you can find me reading a book, thrifting, logging new restaurants on my Beli, or taking long walks.

MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHIES

The anchors that keep me grounded in my work

  1. Craft with intention

Every detail matters. I believe design is an accumulation of thoughtful choices, from hierarchy to motion, each one shaping how users feel and interact. I approach every project with a sense of care and purpose, making sure that form and function always work together.

  1. Stay open, stay inventive

I’m constantly exploring new tools, technologies, and perspectives. Innovation, to me, means staying curious, being willing to experiment, questioning assumptions, and finding unexpected solutions. I see design as an evolving practice that grows through exploration.

  1. Design for everyone

Accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of good design. I aim to create experiences that are intuitive, equitable, and genuinely useful for a wide range of users. When we design with empathy, we create space for more people to belong.
