[About me]
Hey! I’m Funmi Olukanmi, a student and designer at Cornell University.
My journey into the field of product design began fall 2022, when I stumbled upon a course called Intro to Digital Product Design. I instantly fell in love with the problem-solving, yet creative nature of the design process.
Now, I enjoy crafting digital experiences that solve problems and touch different kinds of people. When I’m not making rectangles on Figma, you can find me reading a book, thrifting, logging new restaurants on my Beli, or taking long walks.

Craft with intention
Every detail matters. I believe design is an accumulation of thoughtful choices, from hierarchy to motion, each one shaping how users feel and interact. I approach every project with a sense of care and purpose, making sure that form and function always work together.
Stay open, stay inventive
I’m constantly exploring new tools, technologies, and perspectives. Innovation, to me, means staying curious, being willing to experiment, question assumptions, and find unexpected solutions. I see design as an evolving practice that grows through exploration.
Design for everyone
Accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of good design. I aim to create experiences that are intuitive, equitable, and genuinely useful for a wide range of users. When we design with empathy, we create space for more people to belong.
